ICBA Names Martina Dashner Vice President of Political Operations
Washington, D.C. (Jan. 24, 2019)—The Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA) has promoted Martina Dashner to vice president of political operations.
“We are delighted to recognize Martina for her efforts to help grow ICBPAC into one of the premier political action committees in the nation,” said ICBA President and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey. “Martina is a highly respected member of the congressional relations team, whose efforts have helped elevate key community banking issues with policymakers. Martina is a dedicated professional who will excel in her expanded role.”
Since joining ICBA in 2015 as director of political events, Dashner has taken on a growing list of responsibilities from the Annual ICBPAC Silent Auction to in-depth political analysis of congressional races. In her new role, she will oversee the day-to-day responsibilities and operations of ICBPAC—ICBA’s political action committee that helps support candidates that promote community bank-friendly policies.
Dashner has a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Michigan State University and is a certified meeting professional.
